We are a research group in quantum computing, formally created in 2024 and located in Bordeaux (France). Our members are hosted at LaBRI in Université de Bordeaux. We are also part of the CNRS research networks in quantum information (GT IQ) and in quantum technologies (GDR TeQ).

Our areas of research and interest include:

Quantum Algorithms and Computational Speedups

  • Optimization methods
  • Monte Carlo methods
  • Combinatorial algorithms
  • Distributed algorithms

Mathematical Optimization and Non-commutative Algebras

  • Entanglement and nonlocality
  • Bounds and implementations of quantum codes
  • Ground state problems

Complexity Theory

  • Limitations of near-term quantum computers
  • Simulation of quantum circuits
  • Classical and quantum query complexity

We are grateful for funding from the Université de Bordeaux, the Naquidis center, the CNRS, the PEPR EPiQ and the CEA/GENCI.

We are looking for passionate new students and postdocs to join the team (more info) !
